First Bank of Thomasville welcomes Jamie Lawrence

THOMASVILLE- First Bank of Thomasville has announced that James D. Lawrence (Jamie) has joined the team at The First Bank as vice president/market leader in Thomasville, Ga.

Lawrence is a seasoned professional who has held several key banking roles throughout his career, most recently serving as vice president for T. C. Federal in the Thomasville and Tallahassee markets, and previously at Synovus in Thomasville.

Commenting on the announcement, John Everett, division president for The First Bank, said, “We are excited to have Jamie as part of our Thomasville lending team. He is an outstanding banker that is customer focused, community oriented, and has excellent skill and knowledge in assisting customers with their commercial banking needs. Lawrence is a Camilla native, and a 2006 graduate of Georgia Southern University. He and his wife, Ashley, have a daughter, Scottie Clare.

Lawrence and his family are active members of First United Methodist Church in Thomasville.
